2019 winter instructional lacrosse league

Black Bear Lacrosse is proud to offer the 1st Annual Winter Instructional Lacrosse League!  Beginner to intermediate players in grades 5th-8th will be offered a fun and engaging instructional lacrosse experience. Players will be given the opportunity to learn from high school coaches and college lacrosse players in our LOCAL community!  Players will work on individual skills and team concepts for the first half of practice before participating in a controlled scrimmage against another grade level team. Head Coaches Grady Wise (Boyertown) and Bryan Churchey (Perkiomen Valley/2018 Mercury All-Area Coach of the Year) along with Pat Jenkins (former Head Coach at Aliso Nigel High School, CA. and Director of Black Bear Lacrosse Academy) and other Black Bear staff will coach each team.

League will be 7v7 +Goalie for 5th-8th grades

*DUE TO FACILITY SPACE THIS EVENT IS CAPPED AT 36 PARTICIPANTS*

Team Skills Include: Settled Offense, Transition Offense & Defense, Ground balls

Individual Skills Include: Shooting Technique, Individual Dodging, Defensive Approaches, Defending different areas on the field, Passing/Catching, Agility

When? Sunday: 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3 , 2/10, 2/17, 2/24

5th-8th Grade: 7:00pm-8:30pm

Who? League is meant for the beginner to intermediate player. Boys in grades 5th,6th,7th, & 8th

Cost? $205 per player *Cost includes a reversible pinnie to keep!
